Quotes

Attribute to a Kennel Stars spokesperson.

"Every licensed kennel, cattery and home boarder in England is given a star rating by its council, but most owners never see it. We have put the ratings next to the prices so people can compare before they book."
"Home boarders are often overlooked, but in West Yorkshire they are more likely to hold five stars than traditional kennels: 56% against 34%."
"Only about a quarter of kennels and catteries publish a price online. Owners should not have to ring round to find out what a week away will cost."
"Leeds, Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield publish their ratings. Bradford does not, so Bradford owners cannot check a rating without asking. We have asked the council for its list."
